Occasionally we check-in with some of the people featured in our stories to learn how their careers are progressing in Georgia’s production industry. Here’s an update on Raniero Diaz.
Raniero Diaz came to Georgia from Florida to work as a set builder back in 2013 and quickly found a carpentry job on the movie “Furious 7.”
Now, after building sets for major productions like “First Man” and “Suicide Squad,” Raniero has an even bigger job: supervising the construction of new studios for Studio Space Atlanta.
He’s enjoying the new challenges of the role and still gets offers to work on specific TV shows and movies.
Raniero says he’s been busier than ever in the last year or so. “I haven’t stopped at all,” Raniero says. “It’s been crazy for me.”
